I know I say this a lot and maybe I just love books but I loved this book. While it’s really a set of short stories that could each stand independently, it also tells the story of Olive Kitteridge, a flawed but entirely relatable character. She is rough around the edges but each story adds a new layer to her. She’s a woman who unknowingly and unobtrusively affects those around her and made me think of more than a few quiet influences in my own life. In case it’s not obvious, I would recommend this book for anyone who loves good stories and good characters.
